QESCO Bill Calculator
A QESCO bill calculator helps you estimate your monthly electricity bill based on the number of units (kWh) you consume. It provides an approximate amount, not the exact bill, because taxes and adjustments may change every month.
What You Need to Calculate the Bill
- Units consumed (kWh)
- Tariff category (Domestic, Commercial, etc.)
- Meter type (Single-phase or Three-phase)
How to Calculate QESCO Bill (Simple Method)
Step 1: Check Units Consumed
Units = Current meter reading − Previous meter reading
Example:
Previous reading: 1250
Current reading: 1400
Units consumed = 150
Step 2: Apply Tariff Rates
Electricity rates are applied in slabs (ranges), not a single rate.
Example (illustrative):
- 1–100 units → lower rate
- 101–200 units → higher rate
- Above 200 units → higher rate
Step 3: Add Taxes and Charges
Your estimated bill may include:
- Energy charges (per unit)
- Fixed charges
- Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA)
- GST
- Electricity duty
- TV fee (if applicable)
Example Bill Calculation
If:
- Units used = 150
- Average cost per unit = PKR 50
Estimated Bill:
150 × 50 = PKR 7,500
